Wedding Cake Prices
Cake prices depend on many factors such
as size, complexity of design, whether the cake is fruit or sponge and the amount of decoration. As each of our cakes
is designed individually an exact price guide is difficult, however, the following guidelines can be used as a starting point
for plain iced sponge cake tiers with light decoration.
Why
is an 8" tier of a wedding cake more expensive than an 8" birthday cake I hear you ask?
Wedding
cakes generally have a much finer finish than other sorts of cakes and to achieve this takes a lot of work, plus tiered cakes
need to be supported inside. In addition most wedding cakes need to be delivered and set up on site ~ and all of this is included
in the price of your cake (delivery and set up within 10 miles of Fantasy Icing is included ~ for distances beyond this 60p
per mile is charged)

Wedding Cupcakes and Mini Iced Cakes:
Wedding cupcakes are available
from £2.00 per cake and mini iced cakes (2.5" diameter) from £6.00 per cake. These are great used on their
own, or as part of a main wedding cake, for example replacing a tier of a main cake with cupcakes.

Further?
Maybe your dream cake is more
expensive that you expected? Well the good news is we have some clever budget ideas that can help you achieve your dream wedding
cake:
- why not replace a couple of tiers with cupcakes,
or
- fake it ~ or some of it anyway. By replacing some tiers
with fake cake, and having plain iced cakes out the back to be cut up for your guests you can save on cost.
Terms
and Conditions
A 25% deposit is required for all wedding cakes ordered and is payable within 7 days
of booking. Balance payable 6 weeks before the event.
All other terms and conditions will be discussed with you and provided in writing at the time of booking.
